Vertigo & Vestibular disorders

The vestibular system, located within the inner ear and brain, helps us maintain balance, stabilize our vision, and understand our position in space. When this system is affected, individuals may experience vertigo (a sensation of spinning or movement), dizziness, imbalance, motion sensitivity, nausea, blurred vision, or difficulty walking. Vestibular disorders can result from conditions such as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), vestibular neuritis, labyrinthitis, concussion, or age-related changes. Symptoms can interfere with being able to take care of oneself, daily activities, work, and recreation.
