Danielle Peros
Kinesiologist
Danielle grew up in Ontario, where she developed a passion for movement through sports including soccer, skiing, and basketball. After experiencing her own sport-related injuries, she was inspired to pursue a career helping others through rehabilitation. Attracted by the beautiful outdoors, Danielle moved to the west coast to complete her BSc (Honours) in Kinesiology at UVic.
Throughout her degree, Danielle gained experience with the Parkinson Wellness Project in roles ranging from conducting participant assessments, to coaching Rock Steady Boxing. She also completed her research projects in the Christie Neuroscience Lab, studying mild-to-severe traumatic brain injuries alongside the Victoria Brain Injury Society. Danielle continues to coach youth soccer at Gorge Soccer Association, helping players develop movement skills, confidence, and a love for sport.
After graduating, she moved to England to complete her MSc Physiotherapy at the University of Plymouth, graduating in August 2026. Danielle is passionate about helping individuals restore their strength, mobility, and independence so they can return to the activities that are meaningful to them. While completing her Canadian physiotherapy credentialing, she is excited to join the Neuro Zone team as a Kinesiologist before transitioning into a Physiotherapist role.
Outside of work, Danielle enjoys bouldering, camping, boxing, reading, crafting, and spending time with family and friends.
