Kaitlyn Frisby
Physiotherapist
When she’s not out exploring the woods with her dog, curled up with a good book, or piecing together her latest quilting project, Kaitlyn brings that same curiosity, creativity, and care to her work as a physiotherapist. At heart, Kaitlyn is a problem solver — she loves finding practical, personalized solutions that help people move, feel, and live better.
Kaitlyn is passionate about helping people thrive after neurological injuries and diagnoses. She combines compassion, evidence-based practice, and a sense of fun to make rehabilitation both effective and meaningful. Whether it’s returning to favorite activities, building confidence in daily tasks, or finding new ways to stay active and independent, Kaitlyn is dedicated to helping clients achieve goals that truly matter to them.
She holds a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of Victoria. Kaitlyn has completed additional training in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) for adults with stroke and brain injury, functional movement for Parkinson’s disease, exercise optimization for older adults, and chronic disease management — enabling her to provide individualized, up-to-date care.
Her clinical experience covers not only neurological populations (such as stroke, brain injury, MS, spinal cord injury, and Parkinson’s disease), but also geriatric and orthopedic rehabilitation. She has a special interest in supporting clients managing multiple conditions or complex health challenges, where thoughtful problem-solving and collaboration are key. Kaitlyn believes that progress in rehabilitation comes not only from exercises and techniques, but also from building confidence, restoring independence, and celebrating each step forward!
